Vermiculture technology, Microbial Composting, Ornamental fish breeding, Apiculture, Bonsai making, Edible mushroom production, Spawn biofabrication and functional foods from millets, Novel biofertilizers and Biopesticides production, Plant tissue culture, Single cell protein production, Spirulina production, Value Added Products, Electric Bicycle, Nanotechnology for effluent treatment, Photo and Video Production, Costume Design and Fashion-Classy Missy Designer unit.
Conducting training programs, mentor and expert meet, job fair, product exhibition, promoting increased interactions/collaborations with institutes/organizations worldwide working in this area.
a.Innovation hatching hall: This hall encourages the young minds’ innovative ideas and create excitement and explore the possible ideas. Acclaimed business leaders and distinguished scientist and academicians interact with students and faculty members to generate novel ideas
b.Idea Lab: This lab will have necessary basic facilities to pursue creative and innovative activities that involve model making, novel experimentation, design & fabrication of useful gadgets of practical use, etc.
c.Innovation Resource Centre: The existing laboratory facilities such as Botany, Zoology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Physics, Chemistry, Language lab and Computer lab can be utilised for new experimentation and testing the new products
d.Idea Bank: Students generate their own innovative ideas and create a data bank of ideas. The innovative and economically productive ideas are chosen for experimentation/model making/project work.
e.Start-up initiatives: Innovation club provides right ecosystem to the budding entrepreneurs for the ready talent pool.
f.Workshops and Training: Workshops are organised to train start-up minds with some real-time scenario facilitating the knowledge creation, innovation and entrepreneurship activities.
g.Consultancy projects: A team of professionals and experts is undertaking the responsibility of monitoring and guiding innovative research projects and start-ups.
