Dean - School of Commerce

Dr.T.Jayakumar appointed as Associate Professor and Dean in School of Commerce and Management Studies,Kongunadu arts and science College has about 23 years of academic and research experience. He has served as a Senate Member for Bharathiar University for the period 2017-2020. He worked to his capacity as a NAAC coordinator,Autonomous Coordinator, Commerce Board chairman, IQAC coordinator and Placement officer. He acted as a coordinator, Distance Education for Madras, Bharathiar and Bharathidesan universites. He visited Srilanka and Malaysia on official assignments. He did his undergraduate and postgraduate in CBM college with good academic excellence. He completed his M.Phil from Madurai Kamaraj University and thereafter Ph.D from Bharathiar University. He has published 2 books and 8 research papers in reputed international and national journals. He has served as a Board of Studies member in several autonomous colleges. He acted as a moderator in the academic conferences and also served as a resource person for giving lectures on various topics. His current areas of research interest are Investment, Behaviour finance, Direct Taxes and GST. He has guided 6 Research scholars for M.Phil . He attended many faculty development programmes, Infosys training programme at Mysore twice and TCS training programme at Coimbatore. He attended and cleared Annual Refresher Programme in Teaching (ARPIT) 2019 conducted by Shree Ram College,Delhi.
