SPACE STATION:
A space station is a large, habitable spacecraft designed to remain in Earth’s orbit for extended periods, allowing astronauts to live and conduct scientific research in space.
Major Space Stations:
International Space Station (ISS) : A collaborative project involving NASA (USA), Roscosmos (Russia), ESA (Europe), JAXA (Japan), and CSA (Canada), the ISS has been operational since 1998 and is the largest space station ever built.
Tiangong Space Station (China) : Launched by China, this modular space station became fully operational in 2022 and serves as China’s primary orbital research facility.
