Kongunadu Research Journal (KRJ) (ISSN No.: 2349-2694) aims to publish high-quality papers with a specific focus on learning within their specified focus that are accessible and of interest to educators, researchers and academicians. It is a scholarly online, open access, peer-reviewed, interdisciplinary journal focusing on theories, methods and applications in mathematics, biology, physics, chemistry and other related fields. KRJ invites authors to submit original and unpublished work that communicates current research on these fields.

INSTRUCTION FOR AUTHORS
CRITERIA FOR MANUSCRIPT
Submitted manuscripts must meet the following criteria:
- The material must be original.
- The writing must be clear, concise and unambiguous.
- The data must be valid.
- The discussions and conclusions drawn by the authors must be reasonable and supportable.
- information must be relevant and interesting.
Manuscript Preparation
The following detailed instructions are necessary to allow direct reproduction of the manuscript for rapid publishing. Manuscript should be typewritten in Times Roman, 12 font size, 1.5 line spaced, title should be in a font size 12, bold face capitals with margins of at least one inch on all sides. Pages should be numbered consecutively, starting with the title page and the matter arranged in the following order: Abstract, Introduction, Materials and Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusion, Acknowledgement and References.
Abstract :
Abstract not more than 300 words. All the three categories, Review Articles, Research papers and Short Communications should have an Abstract.
Key Words: Key words upto the maximum of 4 words must be provided by authors for indexing of their article. Key words will be listed directly below the Abstract.
Introduction: Should start below the keywords and should clearly indicate the aim of the study.
Materials and Methods :
Should start as a continuation to introduction on the same page. All important materials used along with their source shall be mentioned. The main methods used shall be briefly described with references. New methods or substantially modified methods may be described in sufficient detail. The statistical method used shall be clearly stated.
Results:
All results presented in tabular or graphical form shall be described in this section. All tables and figures must have a title and a legend to make them self-explanatory and they should be given numbers. Each table or figure should be on main body of the text.
Discussion:
Should contain a critical review of the results of the study with the support of relevant literature. Unsupported hypothesis should be avoided. It can end with brief conclusions.
Acknowledgements:
It should be typed in one paragraph directly preceding the reference section.
Tables/Figures:
Incorporate tables and/or figures with their legends into the main body of text.
References : References should be referred to by name and year in the text (e.g.: Siddhuraju and Becker, 2003; Pullaiah, 2002; Rimbach et al., 2005) and listed alphabetically at the end of the paper in reference section.

Ethical guidelines
Authors using experimental animals and human subjects in their investigation must seek approval from the appropriate Ethical Committee in accordance with "Principles of Laboratory Animal Care" and/or the declaration of Helsinki promulgated in 1964 as amended in 1996.
Article Proofs
Page proofs are sent to the corresponding author through e-mail. They must be carefully checked and returned the revised manuscript within one week of receipt.
Publication charges
In order to manage the various costs associated with publication, all accepted papers have manuscript handling or publication charges. There are no charges for article processing. All payments should be made in favour of Kongunadu Research Journal in the form of Bank Draft of any nationalized Bank payable at Coimbatore and addressed to the Editor, Dr. S. Paulsamy, Dean R&D, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore-641 029 by registered post.
