- The University Grants Commission has recognized the College as a “College with Potential for Excellence (CPE) and sanctioned Rs. 81,000/- to establish Research facilities in the Department and Rs.3,06,720/- to enhance teaching facilities in the Department.
- The College has been recognized by the UGC as College of Excellence and UGC granted financial assistance to the tune of Rs.34,57,900/- to upgrade the infrastructure facilities in the Computer Lab.
- The Department has received Rs. 7,13,385/- under the FIST scheme
