Initiation
Nine of our College staff members were honoured with Best Teacher Awards, Best Researchers and Exemplary Service awards by the College Management after evaluating their performance in the year of Pearl Jubilee Celebration, 2004
These awardees unanimously decided to form a research foundation in the name of Dr. M. Aruchami, then Secretary and present President of the College, who is striving hard in making the College as one of the best higher education institutions in India. "Dr.M.Aruchami Research Foundation", was established on 10.01.2004 and is doing its best to encourage research activities in the College to reach greater height.

To enhance research quality and disseminate knowledge
Objective
To motivate the researchers by providing help and support to do their research in better way.
Present Activites
By conducting guest lecture programmes / seminars / conferences / symposia / workshops and to help the researchers to learn more about thrust areas.
Honouring the researchers who did their PhD. Programme in Kongunadu Arts and Science College and the staff who have successfully completed their PhD. programme in and outside the college and also honouring "The Best Research Scholars" selected by the expert committee, by presenting cash awards.
Future Plan
To help the research scholars and the staff members by providing financial support for paper presentation in National & International Conferences to be held at various places.
Also to help the researchers in terms of financial support, honouring by awarding medals,etc., for their publication of articles in international peer reviewed & internationally indexed Journals.
Membership Enrollment and Subscription Fee :
Life Membership - Rs. 500/-
Annual Membership - Rs. 100/- for staff members and Rs. 50/- for students & research scholars
