ON TWO DAYS WORK SHOP ON PRICING FOR VISUAL MERCHANDISING & BOUTIQUE MANAGEMENT

The Department of Costume Design & Fashion, Kongunadu Arts& Science College Coimbatore organised Two days’ workshop on “Visual Merchandising& Boutique Management”by Mrs.Rufiya Sameer, Proprietor of@ Riya, Boutique & VM Trainer in F-10 for III-year CDF students.

The workshop was formally inaugurated by Mrs.M. Sindhu, Assistant Professor Department of CDF with welcome address on 17.08.2022. Day 1 the various aspects covered during the workshop were Career Development, Product Design, and Basic Visual Merchandising Display.display Techniques and Students arranged herself as a mannequin and they prepared various displays in Visual Merchandising

Day 2 Boutique Management Concepts and Properties displaying technique was discussed students were divided into 4 groups and 4 different team work mannequins display, home furnishing, hand bag Display, Grocery display was given Student actively participated and also prepared various Properties for Windows Display used in Visual Merchandising by Team work. the expert was inspired by the student’s performance.
