Campus WalkThe session commences with a warm welcome address by Dr.A.Kavitha, Head of the Department, Computer Science (Aided).
Following the welcome, the session was led by Mr. K.M. Keerthi Raajan, Software Engineer, who delivered an insightful presentation focused on “Carrer Opportunities and Skill Development”.
During the session he guides the students about the current job opportunities, how they can develop their upskills and knowledge. He recommended utilizing online web portals like “leetcode”, “codeforces” to increase their programming skills, also instructs them to participate in Hackathons, Internships etc. He also shared valuable tips on how to effectively search for jobs, stressing the importance of maintaining a professional online presence through platforms like LinkedIn and GitHub. Furthermore, he provided practical guidance on writing a formal Resume and Cover Letter, and explained the recruitment and hiring process in detail. The seminar proved to be highly informative and beneficial, providing students with clear direction for their career growth and development.
Finally he ended up the session by asking queries to the students which they observed. The students gave away good answers. The session concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Mrs. Ansu Elsa Koshy. Assistant Professor, Department of Computer Science.
