The PG & Research Department of Commerce organized Online workshop on “Advanced Excel” on May 25th – 2022 between 11:30 AM and 01:00 PM. Mr.Manoj, Data Analyst in I-Bacus Tech was the chief guest for the programme. Dr.S.Uma, Head of the department welcomed the gatherings. The Workshop was very informative and the Chief Guest explained in detail about the working of Advanced Excel. He worked out the programmes practically. The students actively participated and cleared their queries. The Vote of Thanks was delivered by Dr.S.Poorni, Assistant Professor in Commerce.
“A Glimpse on Small Business Finance Management”
The PG & Research Department of Commerce organized a Webinar on “A Glimpse on Small Business Finance Management” on May 13th – 2022 between 04:00 PM and 05:00 PM. Ms.Jagadharini Sampathkumar, Freelancer and Trainer for Investment Management was the chief guest for the programme. Dr.S.Uma, Head of the department welcomed the gatherings. The Webinar was very informative and the Chief Guest highlighted about the importance of savings and investment and also stated the rapid growth of stock market in India. She encouraged the students to invest in future.
“ Debate Programme on Union Budget 2022 ”
The PG & Research Department of Commerce organized a debate on March 5th – 2022 between 12:00 PM and 01:00 PM. Dr.T. Jayakumar, Dean, School of Commerce & Management was the chief guest for the programme titled “ Debate Programme on Union Budget 2022”. This Debate was Judged by Mrs. S. Kalpana Devi, Assistant Professor. The Debate Programme was very informative and the Judge emphasized about this year’s Budget and the growth of the economy in the country. 8 BCOM students actively participated in the programme
“Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technologies”
The ISCA Coimbatore Chapter and PG & Research Department of Commerce jointly organized a webinar on March 3rd – 2022 between 11:30 AM and 12:30 PM. Dr. K. Prabhakaran, Empanelled Resource Person of SEBI & NCDEX & Trainer of NCFE was the chief guest for the programme titled “Entrepreneurship and Emerging Technologies”. Dr.T.Jayakumar, Dean, School of Commerce & Management, welcomed the gathering.
‘Waste Management’
PG & Research Department of Commerce organized an event on ‘Waste Management’ on account of ‘World Environment Day’, on 3rd June 2022. Dr.S.Uma, Associate Professor and Head, PG and Research Department of Commerce, welcomed all the participants and Dr. T.Jayakumar, Dean, School of Commerce and Management addressed the participants with a few words about ‘World Environment Day’ and the importance of ‘Transformative Change in Waste Management’, about how nature can be saved by recycling the waste and creating new products out of it.
