Dr. S.Velmurugan and Dr. L.Kathivelkumaran for winning the Best Paper Award at the 2nd International Conference on Socioeconomic Impact of Pollution in Water Bodies and Remedial Measures (ICPWRM-2025)! Their award-winning paper, titled "Artificial Intelligence for Sustainable Ecosystems to Tackling Water Pollution and Socioeconomic Impacts", highlights innovative approaches leveraging AI to address critical environmental challenges.

Dr.S.Velmurugan in recognition of an outstanding contribution to the quality of the journal-Appointed as Editorial Board Member of “The Nucleus” (UGC Care Listed Journal) 2024.

• We are thrilled to announce the success of our talented students from the III B.Sc Computer Science with Data Analytics (2022-2025 batch) in securing placements across leading IT companies! Pavithra K. (Reg. No. 221DA043) has been selected as a Business Process Associate at Literact Fintech. Congratulations on this remarkable achievement!
• Heartfelt congratulations to S. Aswin (Reg. No. 221DA028) and N. Muganth for their selection in the on-campus placement drive with Sureti Insurance Marketing Pvt Ltd, securing an impressive CTC of ₹3.5 lakhs per annum!
• We are also proud of R.M. Simhika, E. Evanjel Mercy, and S. Sujith, who have been selected as Junior Process Associates in the KGISL On-Campus Placement Drive with a CTC of ₹2.84 lakhs per annum.

• Niranjan. C -  II B.Sc (CS with DA) - NCC Volunteer  has attended Various camps ​​​​Annual Training Camp - I held at Kumaraguru College of Technology, Coimbatore.RDC Training- I CUM CATC - held at Hindusthan College of engineering and Technology , Coimbatore.

• K.C. Karthick, II B.Sc CS with DA, NSS Volunteer, participated in the State Republic Day Parade Camp-2025 held at Vellore Institute of Technology, Chennai, from 17th to 26th January 2025, and actively participated in the Republic Day Parade – 2025 at Marina, Chennai.​​​
• Mr. K.C. Karthick, an enthusiastic NSS Volunteer, had the privilege of representing his unit at the prestigious NSS South Zone Pre-Republic Day Parade Camp-2024. This remarkable event was organized by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, in collaboration with the Regional Directorate of NSS, Bangalore. The camp was held at Davangere University, Davangere, from 5th to 14th November 2024.​​​
• A.Venkateswara - II B.Sc (CS with DA) - NSS Volunteer - Has successfully participated  in the State Adventure Camp - 2023 held at Yercaud from 16th to 20th October Organized by Tamilnadu State NSS Cell, Chennai in association with periyar University, Salem, Tamilnadu.

• Outstanding achievements of our students at the National Level Symposium "Jubiliant Fiesta – Pro 2025", organized by the Department of B.Com (Professional Accounting) on 14th December 2024:
• Johina Johnson (II B.Sc. CS with DA) won the 1st Prize in Extempore for her eloquent and impactful speech.
• S. Kalyanasundaram (II B.Sc. CS with DA) secured the 1st Prize in Pencil Art, showcasing exceptional artistic talent.
• Congratulations to our talented II CS with DA students M. Sanoj, K.C. Karthick, and J. Haripriya for their exceptional performance in the Cultural Festival (Karagam) won a second prize at the district Youth Festival YUVA UTSAV 2024, Coimbatore, held on 11th December 2024!
• 🎉Our II year Students got 3rd Prize for Aaravam (Onam Festival) 2024 at KASC. Our II year Students got  II Prize for Oratorical Competition  2024 at KASC. The students of our department have participated in various inter collegiate events and have won certificates.
• Jithendra.K.S - II B.Sc (CS with DA ) - won a first prize in debugging event on 10.02.2023 at Nehru College of Management, Coimbatore.
• Jithendra.K.S - II B.Sc (CS with DA ) - won a first prize in word Hunt event on 14.03.2023 at Sri Ramalinga sowdambigai college of science and commerce, Coimbatore.
• Jithendra.K.S - II B.Sc (CS with DA ) - won a second prize in debugging event on 14.03.2023 at Sri Ramalinga sowdambigai college of science and commerce, Coimbatore.Aparna.S - II B.Sc (CS with DA ) - won a first prize in Treasure Hunt event on 24.03.2023 at KGISL Institute of Information Management, Coimbatore.

• Data Analytics Department is collaborated with ICT Academy.

• The Tamil Pudhalvan Scheme 2024 provides financial assistance of INR 1000/ month to male students from government schools in TamilNadu to pursue higher education. A total of 16 students from the Department of Computer Science with Data Analytics at Kongunadu Arts and Science College were selected for this scheme in the academic year 2024-2025.
   
• The Pudhumai Penn Scheme offers INR 1000/ month to female students from government schools in TamilNadu, supporting them until the completion of their UG, Diploma, ITI, or other recognized courses. Ten students from the department have been selected for this scheme in 2024-2025.
