Costume Design and Fashion (UnAided)

The Department of computer science with data analytics and the Department of costume design and fashion jointly organised a “Face Painting Competition on Awareness About 100% Voting Among the First Time Voters” on 23.03.2024 at 11 am in F8 – CDF Department Garment Construction lab.  The programme aimed to raise awareness about the importance of 100% voting among the First Time Voters.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, organized a Group Counselling  on “Over usage of Social Media Problem Faced by the Student” by Mrs. B. Kavitha, Assistant Professor & Head I/C, Department of Psychology, KASC, Coimbatore, on 16.03.2024 venue: F10   from 10.00 am to 11.00am (IST).

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion of Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, organized a drawing competition centered on gender equity as part of the college day celebrations. The competition aimed to engage students in creative expression while fostering awareness for “Gender Equality”.

The drawing competition took place on February 22, 2024, at 4:15 PM in Room F-10. A total of 34 students from various departments participated actively, showcasing their artistic talents and commitment to promoting gender equity through art.

The Tribal Exhibition held on 22^nd February 2024 at Conference Hall, was a creative event organized by Staffs and Students of Department of Costume Design and Fashion. The Event started with the inauguration of the Expo by Dr. C.A. Vasugi, Our Secretaryin the presence of Dr. M. Lekeshmanasamy, Our Principal and Dr. R. Saravanamoorthy, Academic Co-Ordinator, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore. To create awareness about the rich heritage and cultural significance of Indian tribes.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized Fashion Accessory Designing Workshop 
held on 22 nd December 2023 at F11 Classroom, for III B.Sc CDF students

 The Department of Costume Design and fashion of Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, organised  a Educational Trip to Munnar, Kerala-Herbal Garden -Natural textile Extraction  for III B.Sc CDF students  with  2 Faculty members on 23.01.2024-25.01.2024
