The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Kongunadu arts and science college Coimbatore , Organized Three day workshop by  GOS Institution and Pearl Academy presents Free Fashion Designing Workshop  by trainers from pearl academy and collaborate with GOS Institution, Coimbatore on 28.08.2020 to 31.08.2020 through  GOS E-Learning  App and Zoom app for II  and III year  students of CDF.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, Organized One day workshop on LAMPSHADE TECHNIQUES for the CDF Students of I,II,IIIYear  by Ms.G.Vasumathi,Assistant Professor, Dept of Costume Design and Fashion,NIFT-TEA College of Knit Wear Fashion.Tirupur through Google Meet at 11.00pm to 1.00pm on 15 September 2020.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, organized “Familiarization with Department” on 19.09.2020 at 11.00am to 12.30 pm for I year students of CDF through Google Meet.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized  workshop on “Customized Blouse Designing” for II year Costume Design and Fashion students, by Mr.Shaffe, Pattern Master, Anya Boutique, Coimbatore, on 1.8.2019  in Garment construction lab from 9.00 am to 4.00 pm.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized one day workshop on “Decoupage Art” by Mrs.G.VASUMATHI, Assistant Professor of Costume Design and Fashion, NIFT-TEA College of Knitwear Fashion, Tirupur held on 28^th February 2020 for the Diploma and other department students in our textile processing and testing lab.

The Department ofCostume Design andFashion arranged for one-dayindustrial visit to PSM Mill, Kanuvai Coimbatore on 25.02.2020 from 2.00 pm to 4.30pm for I Year students.The unit is mainly focusing on the yarn manufacturing process of Cotton.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion of Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, organized its Alumni Meet for 2016-2019 batches on 15^th February, 2020. The alumni played active role in contacting their batch mates and others. The alumni of 30 members attended the meet.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, organized  One day workshop on “Aari Embroidery” by Trainees from Amrutha Institution, Coimbatore on 11.01.2020 in  Room no F10 for II and III  year students of CDF.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion KASC signed MOU WITH Global Vision Training Academy, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu in the presence of Dr.M.Lekeshmanaswamy Principal on 04.02.2020 at 10.45 am in principal chamber.
