  • Dr.Shobha Ramaswamy was awarded a UGC Major Research Project for Rs.6,94,000/-. Project sanctioned in 2012 and successfully completed in 2015.
  • Dr.K.Kaviyarasu successfully completed   as co-investigator, AHRC GCRF Urgency Grants scheme for: “Digital Innovation in Water Scarcity and Environmentalism in Coimbatore, India” in collaboration with Lancaster University in 2020.
  • Dr.Shobha Ramaswamy received the A.P.J.Abdul Kalam Award for Professional Excellence  instituted by the University of Swahili, panama, in the Field of Theology in 2018.
  • Dr.Shobha Ramaswamy contributed a chapter to the book "Covid 19 and its impact" which featured in the Asia Book of Records and The india Book of Records in 2021
