Department of Zoology - Achievement

Founded in the year 1973, the Department of Zoology is one of the pioneer Department in the Kongunadu Arts and Science College. In addition to the regular upto date teaching, department also taken lead in introducing skill based subjects. The offered Diploma courses added the knowledge in frontier areas in Zoology and also created an ambience that stimulates the students to become an entrepreneurs.This level of growth and progress has been possible due  to development of technical expertise and creation of state-of-the- art laboratories through a number of support rendered by DST, UGC and DBT.
