1.The department of B.Com Banking and Insurance have conducted an awareness programme on 20.07.23. The students were asked to prepare basic questions on awareness level towards insurance, schemes, importance, preference and satisfaction level of the respondents. The students with their questionnaire copies visited the final year classes of UG & PG commerce department with the permission of the respective Head of the Department. Two students per class were allowed to collect the feedback.
2.MOU has been made on 28-07-2023 between Department of Commerce with Banking and Insurance and Dheeran IAS Academy,Coimbatore.Mou will remain in effect for 5 Years from the Date of signing.
3.The Department of BCOM B&I has organized an Inaugural Function on 10.08.2023 between 9.30.AM and 1.00 PM in G-5 Seminar Hall. The Speaker for the session was Dr.R.Sakthi Parthiban, Director, Dheeran IAS Academy, Coimbatore.
4.The Department of BCOM B&I along with B.Sc.Psychology of our college has organized a Seminar on 14.08.2023 between 8.30.AM and 9.30AM in Sister Nivedita Hall. The seminar topic was “Stress and Behavioral Addictions Management” and the Speaker for the session was Dr.P.Tamilselvan, Assistant Professor, PSG College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore.
5.The Department of BCOM B&I has organized an orientation programme on 08.09.2023 between 10.30.AM and 1.00 PM in Sister Nivedita Hall. The title of the programme was “Orientation programme on coaching classes for bank exams”. The Speaker for the session was Dr.R.SakthiParthiban, Director, Dheeran IAS Academy, Coimbatore.
6.The Department of BCOM B&I has organized inusurance Awareness Programme on 20.07.2023 for final year students - A study was condcuted by the final year students using the questionaire method . survey was taken among all commerce students no of participants 37.
7.The Department of BCOM B&I has organized Inter-Departmental competition play with Accountancy on 20.09.2023 (Wednesday) between 9.30.AM and 1.30 PM in G-5 Seminar Hall. The competition was started with a prayer song by B.Com B&I girls and a welcome note by the Head of the Department Dr.K.Subashini. All the commerce and management stream students were invited to take part in the competition.
8. Two days Regional workshop of Institutions affiliated with Vidyabharathi- Dakshina Ksshetra, Karnataka, Kerela and Tamil Nadu– Vidya Bharthi Uccha Shiksha Sansthan Khsheetreeya Bitak conducted a workshop on 01,02 November 2023 and Dr.K.Subashini. The department head of B.com B&I attended and workshop related to national educational policy.
9.The LCS session has been allotted by the Library and the same has been executed on 19.12.2023. Dr.K.Subashini, Assistant Professor and Head has given the LCS presentation at AV room of Library. The presentation was given to III B.Com B&I students on the topic TALLY ERP 9 ACCOUNTING VOUCHERS. The students were enthusiastic to learn the topic through LCS system. They have interacted well and raised their doubts which were clarified by the staff. The Librarian Dr.R.Senthil Kumar and the library staff have supported and motivated the staff and students to complete the session successfully.
9. Yuva YI - Covao Vizha celebration 2024 "Agri Fest" as An educational campaign on live stock insurance was conducted. Awareness about the Insurance was given by B.Com B&I students among Famers. No of Beneficiaries '-50.
10.The Department along with National Digital Library of India (NDLI, KASC) has conducted a Guest Lecture for the students of Commerce and Management on 08.02.2024 in Digital Media Centre, Library -KASC . Mr.K.Dinesh Kumar has instigated as the cheigf guest The objective of the event was to give awareness about career opportunities in investment banking sector. The event started with a prayer song followed by welcome note given by Head of the Department Dr.K.Subashini. The department Staff Dr.R.Maharajothi Priya has introduced the chief guest with his brief profile to the participants. He has also briefed on types of banks, investment banks and its functions, mergers and Acquisitions of banks in India and its future scenario.

3. Conducted Webinar on 14-09-2022 “Innovation in Personal Financial Management – Lesson to the Budding Leaders of Tomorrow”, Chief Guest Dr. Sharan Kumar Sheety, Associate Professor, Head & International Regulations, MSNIM - Mangaluru.
4. Conducted Webinar on "Valuation of Goodwill and Shares" on 27.10.2022, Chief Guest Dr. M. Akila, Assistant Professor and Head, Department of Commerce, AVP Arts and Science College, Coimbatore.
5. Conducted hands on training on "Share Trading" on 24.01.2023, Chief Guest Mr. Gowtham, Trader and Investor, Coimbatore.
6. Conducted Workshop to other Department students topic on "Online Share Trading" on 8.2.2023, Chief Guest Mr. Gowtham, Trader and Investor, Coimbatore. 76 students were participated in this workshop from various departments.

9.Conducted a Seminar on "Impact of IT in Banking Sector" on 18-04-2023,Chief Guest of the session Dr.R.Manohar, Director, Bluebeats ,Coimbatore.Totally 160 participants have benefitted from the program.
10..The Department of BCOM B&I has organized an The Guest lecture session on 08.02.2024 titles on "careear opportunities in investment in banking sector'' for commerce b&i students . and he had power point presentation with introduction to banking sector. He has pointed out the role of banks in today’s business and about barter system to crypto currencies used today.
