The department of Costume Design and Fashion organized Two days workshop on “Fashion Sketching” for I B.Sc., Costume Design and Fashion Department students by        Mrs. Midhula, Founder of Cithrasena Midhula Art Studio, Coimbatore, on 11.09.2023 & 12.09.2023 in Fashion sketching lab from 10.00am to 4.00pm.

Department of costume design and fashion organized workshop on “Portfolio Presentation” for III B.SC Costume Design Fashion Students by  P.Nithya, Assistant professor, PSG arts and science college, Coimbatore  on 09.01.2023 in F10  at 10pm to 1pm .

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion of Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, organized its Alumni Meet for 2017-2020 batches on 5^th November, 2022. The alumni played active role in contacting their batch mates and others. The alumni of 34 members attended the meet. There was great enthusiasm among the alumni. It was a great pleasure to know about their accomplishments in professional lives.

The Department of Costume Design & Fashion Organized “workshop on Beauty Care” by Ms Kowsalya, Saakhi Beauty Point Academy and AK Photography Coimbatore  for 3^rd year CDF students on 20.2.2023 at 10.00 am to 04.00 pm in our Textile processing Cum Testing lab.

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized a International Webinar on “Batik Printing” by Dra.Wiwik Niarti, Batik Blimbing, JL.Candi Jago No 6 blimbing, Malang,

Indonesia on 28.02.2023 through MS Teams Plat form from 1.00pm to 2.30pm (IST).

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion, Kongunadu Arts and Science College, Coimbatore, Organized one day workshop on TANJORE PAINTING for the II & III CDF Students by Ms.G.Vasumathi, Assistant Professor, Dept of Costume Design and Fashion, NIFT-TEA College of Knit Wear Fashion, Tirupur from 8.30am – 4.30 pm on 23.04.2022.

On the outset of celebrating the National Handloom day on August 7^th , we the Department of Costume Design and Fashion jointly participated with Coimbatore Makkal Sevai maiyamin the Pride Rally for supporting the Handloom products. The students and staff members rallied together with the activists, and supporters, all united under a common goal: promoting and advocating for the use of handloom products on 04.08.2023 at Cosmopolitan Club to Scheme Road, Race Course, Coimbatore

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion,Makkal Sevai Maiyam  & Dream zone organized a fashion show for National Handloom Day Celebration  in Dr. Marappa G. Aruchami Auditorium on 2^nd August 2023.

The 2^nd International conference, “Refining & Redefining the Sustainability Of Textile Industry – RRSTI’23” has been organized by the Department of Costume Design and Fashion on MARCH 20^TH 2023

The Department of Costume Design and Fashion organized a One Day workshop on “Art and Craft” For School Students on 26.07.2023 (Wednesday) F8 (CDF Pattern Making Lab) from 10.00am to 3.30 pm.
