• The Department conducted  Workshop on "Advanced JAVA" held on 06.01.2020. 

   

• The Department conducted Inaugural & Intra Departmental Function " TECH INNOVATORS" 2019 " on 25.7.2019.

    

• The department has organized a One-Day National Level Hands-On Workshop on “Android Application Development” on . Mr. Saifur Rahman Mohsin, Founder and CEO, Tempestronics has delivered the inaugural address and conducted the hands-on session. Nearly 250 students have participated from other colleges like Madurai, Kerala, Trichy and Chennai. Staff members including Research scholars also got benefited. The Purpose of the workshop was to give awareness and to know the techniques of current trends in practical manner and to impart participants with an in-depth understanding of fundamentals and advanced knowledge in the areas of Android, to enable them to progress rapidly in their research

   

• The Inaugural was started at 10.00am and the function starts with lightening the ceremonial lamp by Dignitaries. Inaugural address was given by our beloved Joint Secretary Tmy. C.A. Vasuki and presidential address was given by esteemed Principal Dr.T.Muraleeswari. The Felicitation was by our respected Dean Dr.V.Sugantha which followed the Special address given by the chief guest. Then Students were taken to the auditorium to give introduction about the Android like Android Architecture, Application Development, working with the Java & XML and the codeathon (Lab Session)- Idea Forming, Design and Wire framing was started at 2.00 pm. The day was folded up with the Certification distribution by the staff members.

• The Department conducted a Seminar on “Internship Training” on 07/01/2015 in III B.Sc IT class room. Mr.Sabarinathan Muthu of 4S Software Solutions delivered a lecture on various opportunities available for students through project internship.

• The Department conducted a Seminar on “Placement Opportunities” on 09/01/2015 in Lab III. Mr.K. Periyasamy Branch Manager, CSC Computer Education delivered a seminar on the placement opportunities.

• The Department conducted a Workshop on “GUI Creation by Java” on 10/01/2015 in Lab III. Mr.M. Eswaran Poras Technologies, conducted a workshop to create GUI Applications using java.

• The Department conducted a Seminar on “Projects” on 21/01/2015 in Lab III. Mr. S. Selvaraj , Online Java trainer, Yes-M Systems Atlanta, USA delivered a seminar on Java Platform Components.
